Snow-shoe hiking

With these shoes you can hike through deep snow and onto peeks that are normally only discovered by alpine tour skiers. The Ultimo Valley offers three ice-skating rinks for your pleasure. Only 5 min. from the Family Hotel & Residence St. Nikolaus you'll find the Kuppelwies ice-skating rink.

Sledging on the "Moscha"
Snowboarding, skiing, après ski….but thats not all. Sledging on the natural "Moscha" toboggan run is part of a winter holiday in the Ultimo Valley. Night sledging under a full moon and a starry sky provides a special highlight. The natural toboggan run "Moscha" near the Schwemmalm ski resort is guaranteed fun! And those who can't get enough of sledging in the daytime, can enjoy night sledging every Wednesday from 7 p.m. on the floodlit toboggan run. Sledging afternoon from 3 p.m. and night sledging from 7 p.m. with mulled wine at the "Moscha Bar" every Wednesday! Furthermore, sleighs can be rented for a fee of 1.50 €.
